Here's what I see. You've written a crisp, confident thesis and hung it in a beautiful, quiet room. The headline is clean, the conviction statement is memorable, and the visual restraint signals exactly the kind of patient, serious capital a founder might want on their cap table.
But a homepage for a venture firm has one job that yours hasn't done yet: make the founder feel seen. Right now the entire page is about what you believe, not about who you back or what it's like to be backed by you. There is no founder in this story. There is only the market and your read on it.
What stands out to me is how much you're leaning on the reader to already know Haun Ventures. If they don't, they leave knowing your thesis and almost nothing about your track record, your people, or the experience of working with you. For a firm this pedigreed, that's a lot of credibility left on the table.
'The evolution of money is inevitable' is a thesis, not a homepage.
The headline works. "Backing the founders building the future of finance" is plain, it tells me the category (venture), and it tells me the domain (finance). No complaints there.
The conviction paragraph is where you show your voice: "the evolution of money is inevitable, and the most ambitious founders will lead its next era." That's a real point of view. It's the strongest sentence on the page. The problem is it's also almost the only sentence on the page.
Here's what worries me. A founder deciding who to take money from is making one of the highest-stakes decisions of their life. They want to know: have you done this before, who have you backed, what happens after you wire the money, and why you over the twenty other funds chasing the same deal. Your homepage answers none of those. It tells them what you think about stablecoins.
The three links (Fund II, Erebor, A Watershed Moment) are your only receipts, and they're presented as a reading list, not as proof. Announcing a Fund II is actually a strong authority signal, but you've buried it as a dated blog headline instead of framing it as "we raised, LPs believe us, we're deploying."
The visual register is doing quiet, expensive work for you. The cream palette, the large serif, the moody sepia imagery: all of it connotes patient, literary, institutional capital. It's congruent with the thesis. But atmosphere is not a substitute for substance, and right now the mood is carrying more weight than the words.
Haun Ventures is a conviction-driven fund that believes decentralized technology will remake the global financial system and backs founders building it.
Crypto and fintech founders raising from seed to scale, though the page assumes they already know the firm.
No customer problem is named; the closest thing is a market thesis that money's evolution is inevitable.
Nothing concrete for the founder. The promise is philosophical: be part of leading the next era of money.
Your visual register signals exactly the kind of quiet, serious, long-horizon money you claim to be, so the mood and the thesis agree, even as the mood outweighs the substance.
Clarity Score v7 reads each company's live homepage, words and visuals together, and scores four dimensions on a 0 to 100 scale.
What does Clarity Score measure?
Four dimensions, weighted into the overall score:
How often is the board updated?
Every company is re-scored monthly. The Change column shows movement since the prior reading; the board baselined on Clarity Score v7 in June 2026.
What does Clarity Score not measure?
It measures how clearly a homepage communicates. It does not measure product quality, funding, traction, or whether a company is winning.
Haun Ventures sits in Lost in Translation, with every company on the board. The strong bands open at 75.
